Your privacy is critically important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how the Bayarin mobile application ("Bayarin", "we", "us", or "our") handles your information.

1. The Short Version: We Don't Collect Your Data

Bayarin was built from the ground up to respect your privacy. We do not collect, transmit, share, or sell your personal or financial data.

2. How Your Data is Stored

Bayarin is a strictly offline-first application.

  • All information you enter into the app—including your name, financial obligations, payment history, and custom categories—is saved securely in a local database directly on your device.
  • Your data never leaves your phone unless you explicitly choose to use the "Export Data" feature to create a manual backup.

3. Permissions We Request

To provide certain features, Bayarin may request the following device permissions:

  • Notifications: We request permission to send local push notifications to remind you of upcoming due dates. These notifications are scheduled locally on your device; no server is involved.
  • Storage / File Access: We request storage access solely to allow you to export your data to a backup file, or import data from a previous backup.

4. Third-Party Services

Bayarin does not integrate with any third-party analytics trackers, crash reporting tools, or ad networks that harvest user data. We do not connect to your bank accounts or external financial institutions.

5. Data Security and Backups

Because we do not have access to your data, we cannot recover it if your device is lost or if the app is uninstalled. We strongly recommend using the built-in "Export Data" feature regularly to keep a safe backup of your financial records.

6. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document.
